Chennai Super Kings have included 19-year-old Sri Lankan medium pacer Mathisha Pathirana in place of injured fast bowler Adam Milne. Milne of New Zealand was bought by Chennai Super Kings for Rs 1.90 crore in the mega auction of IPL. At the same time, Mathisha Pathirana has been included in the team for a price of Rs 20 lakh. He has also become the sixth player in the list of IPL replacement players.
Mathisha is famous as Junior Maling
Mathisha Pathirana popularly known as Junior Malinga. Pathirana’s bowling action is very similar to that of Lasith Malinga. The action of this bowler is also a sling and just like Malinga, the ball leaves his hand. For this reason, he is also called Junior Malinga and Little Malinga.
Playing for Sri Lanka in the Under-19 World Cup this year, he impressed the cricket connoisseurs a lot. He also took 2-2 wickets against Pakistan and West Indies.
Milne was injured in the first match
Adam Milne was injured in the first match of this season against Kolkata Knight Riders. There was a strain in his muscles. Because of which he was ruled out of the entire tournament.

CSK is yet to announce the replacement of Deepak Chahar. Deepak Chahar was included in his team by Chennai after spending a hefty amount of 14 crores, but due to injury, he has been out of the tournament. Apart from CSK, Rajasthan Royals have also not announced the replacement of Nathan Coulter-Nile.
