Today is 14th December i.e. the film 'Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham' has completed 22 years. On this special occasion, Kajol and filmmaker Karan Johar shared a post on social media. Kajol wrote some pictures of the film and a note full of memories.

He wrote- An old beautiful memory! For the shooting of 'Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham', Yash Uncle had built new make-up rooms in Filmistan Studio because there was a shortage of make-up rooms for the huge star cast of the film. During the first few days of shooting of the film, filmmaker Karan Johar fell unconscious due to the heat. This was the debut film of Shahrukh Khan's son Aryan!

Kareena Kapoor became quite popular with the character of 'Poo'.
'Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham' is one of the iconic films of Bollywood. People liked the pairing of Shahrukh Khan-Kajol in this film very much. Amitabh Bachchan and Jaya Bachchan were seen together. Hrithik Roshan and Kareena Kapoor in the role of 'Poo' were also highly praised. It was a family drama film with lots of emotions.

Some interesting things related to 'Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham'

  • 'Kabhi Khushi Kabhi Gham' was the second highest grossing film of the year 2001.
  • The British song 'It's Raining Men' was used in Kareena Kapoor's entry scene. However, the producer did not take permission for this. Later, the original makers of the song filed a case against the film, which went to a UK court and Dharma Productions was ordered to pay damages.
  • Aamir Khan had said in Karan Johar's show 'Koffee with Karan' that when he saw 'Kabhi Khushi Kabhi Gham' during the special screening, he did not like it. The entire cast was present there, but as soon as the film ended they left without congratulating anyone. He also ignored Karan and Shahrukh at that time. However, during the show he also apologized to Karan.
  • However, Achala Sachdev played the role of Amitabh Bachchan's mother in the film. But do you know that the first choice for this character was Waheeda Rehman. Waheeda Rehman was cast for the film. He had even shot some scenes. But during this time her husband Kamaljeet passed away and she left the film. Achala Sachdev played the role of Big B's mother in place of Waheeda Rehman.
  • Abhishek Bachchan had shot for the cameo of this film. However, he later asked director Karan Johar to remove this scene from the final copy.
