Kajol recently took to Instagram to share a cryptic note on people taking therapy. She shared a note which read that while it is great that people have begun embracing therapy, some need an exorcism instead. This has left social media buzzing and fans wondering about whom Kajol might be hinting at.

Meanwhile, Kajol was recently seen in Do Patti with Kriti Sanon last month. The film also marks the second project of the two acting powerhouses, nine years after their first one, Dilwale. The film is directed by debutant Shashanka Chaturvedi and written by Kanika Dhillon. Kriti Sanon portrays dual roles on screen for the first time. She plays twin sisters Saumya and Shailee, around whom the whole narrative of the film revolves. Notably, Kriti also serves as the film producer.
For the first time in her illustrious career, Kajol plays a dedicated police officer, Vidya “VJ” Jyothi. Her character is tasked with solving a murder mystery involving the twin sisters. Kajol was last seen in Netflix’s Lust Stories 2 and Disney+Hotstar’s legal drama The Trial.
Do Patti marks Shaheer Sheikh’s debut in Bollywood. The actor, who is best known for TV serials like Kuch Rang Pyar Ke Aise Bhi and Mahabharat, plays Dhruv Sood in the upcoming film. Apart from the three main actors, the Shashanka Chaturvedi-directed film also stars Tanvi Azmi, Brijendra Kala, Vivek Mushran and Prachee Shah Paandya in pivotal roles.
Set against the breathtaking backdrop of the fictional town of Devipur in Uttarakhand, Do Patti weaves a tale rich in thriller, suspense and family drama. The film follows the lives of twin sisters Saumya and Shailee, who harbour dark secrets, and a relentless cop named Vidya, who is determined to uncover the truth.
The sweet love story between Saumya and Dhruv takes a dramatic turn when Shailee enters the scene, disrupting their personal and marital lives. As tensions rise, Vidya is on a mission to investigate an attempted murder. The plot thickens when Dhruv is arrested in connection with the case, leading to a thrilling unravelling of the truth surrounding the twin sisters and the mystery at hand.
