The results were declared after the counting of votes for the formation of the new executive committee of the Central Bar Association located at Diwani Kachari in Rae Bareli, which lasted till late Thursday. Kamlesh Chandra Pandey’s head was tied for victory on the post of President, considered important. He defeated his nearest rival Ram Prakash Singh by a margin of 453 votes. Kamlesh Chandra Pandey got 761 votes, while Ram Prakash Singh got 308 votes.
On the other hand, for the post of General Secretary, Amarendra Singh defeated his nearest rival Yogendra Kumar Dixit by 44 votes. Amarendra got 346 votes, while Yogendra Kumar Dixit got 302 votes. As soon as the victory was announced, the supporters burst into joy. They sweetened their mouths by feeding each other laddoos and bursting crackers expressed happiness.
Counting of votes began at around 10 am on Thursday at the Library Building of the Central Bar Association. Under the supervision of the members of the Elders Committee, the counting started after the first sorting of votes for the post of Joint Minister along with junior and senior executive members. The names of the winners for the post of Joint Minister were announced at around 4.30 pm. Rakesh Kumar Jaiswal was declared elected for the post of Senior Vice President. Alka Singh Rajput and Amresh Tiwari won for the two posts of Vice President.
Sanjay Singh Chauhan emerged victorious for the post of treasurer. Vinod Kumar Singh, Vivek Sharma and Rajnath Singh were elected for the three posts of Joint Minister. Ajay Kumar Sharma, Anoop Awasthi, Omkumar Singh, CL Trivedi, Mohammad Rashid and Neeraj Srivastava were elected for senior executive members. Similarly, Shubham Srivastava, Nikhil Pathak, Satyendra Sonkar, Rajesh Kumar Shah, Sunil Kumar Yadav and Adarsh Patel were declared elected for the post of junior executive members.
