In T20 International cricket, Akmal has done 32 stumpings in 58 matches.

Kamran Akmal of Pakistan has become the first wicketkeeper in the world to perform 100 stumpings in T20 cricket. He has also overtaken former India captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni, former Australia wicketkeeper Adam Gilchrist and former Sri Lankan wicketkeeper Kumar Sangakkara in terms of stumping.

Kamran achieved this record in the National T20 Cup being played in Pakistan. Kamran, playing from the team of Central Punjab, made this record by dismissing the captain of Southern Punjab, Shaan Masood. Dhoni is second in this case. Dhoni has done 84 stumpings in T20 cricket so far.

Dinesh Karthik of Top-5 India also included

Sri Lanka’s Sangakkara is at number three in stumping in T20 cricket. Sangakkara has done a total of 60 stumpings in this format. India’s Dinesh Karthik’s name comes at number four in this list. Dinesh has 59 stumpings. Afghanistan wicket-keeper Mohammad Shahzad is at number four with 52 stumpings. The Pakistan Cricket Board first tweeted and congratulated Kamran for touching 100 stumping records.

Dhoni beats Kamran in T20 International

Talking about stumping in T20 International cricket, Dhoni’s name comes at the top. He has stumped 34 stumpings in 98 T20 Internationals. Kamran Akmal is second in 58 matches with 32 stumpings and Bangladesh wicketkeeper Mushfiqur Rahim is third with 29 stumpings. Mohammad Shehzad comes fourth with 20 stumpings and Sangakkara (20 stumping) comes at number five.

Dhoni number-1, including all formats

If all formats of international cricket are merged, Dhoni comes first in this list with 123 stumpings. This is followed by Sangakkara (99), RS Kaluvitharana (75), Moin Khan (73) and Adam Gilchrist (55).
