Kangana bungalow case of sabotage: woman labor arrested for resisting BMC action

Several similar groups performed outside Kangana’s bungalow. Acting on which the police caught 15 people.

A Mumbai court on Thursday granted bail to a woman laborer arrested for allegedly obstructing and restraining a public servant during a vandalism by the civic body in actress Kangana Ranot’s bungalow. The police arrested 15 people on charges of protesting outside Kangana’s house.

Additional Sessions Judge RM Sadrani granted bail to Sapna Perera (51) on a personal bond of Rs 15,000. A case has been registered against the woman under the provisions of Section 353, 188 of the IPC and the Bombay Police Act.

15-20 people performed
According to the prosecution, a group of 15 to 20 people had gathered outside Kangana Ranot’s bungalow in Bandra. They are accused that the group shouted slogans opposing the action of sabotage and tried to stop the policemen from performing their duties. Later a woman laborer was arrested in this case.

‘Neither Kangana nor relationship with Raut’
In the bail plea filed by his lawyer Sriganesh Savalkar, Sapna said that he was falsely implicated in the case. The woman further said that she is a laborer and has no relation with Ranaut and (Shiv Sena) leader Sanjay Raut. She said that she is not associated with any political party. Accepting the application, the court granted his bail.
