Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut has been in the headlines ever since she won the Lok Sabha elections. After winning the election with a huge margin, she has now taken oath as a Lok Sabha member. She has also said that while being in politics, she will work day and night on the dream of a self-reliant India.

The actress has shared a video of her taking oath from her official social media account. Kangana, who reached the Parliament in a white saree, has taken oath. She has written with it, ‘I, Kangana Ranaut, swear in the name of God….Today I took oath as a member of the 18th Lok Sabha in the Parliament House. I will fulfill the opportunity I have got to serve the people with full devotion.’

Kangana further wrote, ‘Under the leadership of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, we all will work together day and night to realise the dream of a developed and self-reliant India.’

Let us tell you that Kangana Ranaut contested the Lok Sabha elections from Mandi city of Himachal Pradesh. She defeated Congress party leader Vikramaditya Singh, who was standing in opposition, by 72 thousand votes.

Kangana’s film career in question

Meanwhile, Kangana’s statement also made headlines, in which she said that she would leave the film industry after winning the election. Now that Kangana has won the election, everyone’s eyes are on her film career. Kangana Ranaut’s film Emergency has been waiting for release for a long time. The film was to be released on June 14, however the film has been postponed.

Apart from this, Kangana is a part of Sita: The Incarnation, Tanu Weds Manu 3 and an untitled thriller film. It remains to be seen what effect Kangana’s political career will have on her film career.
