BSF Jawan Veerpal of Kannauj died in Jammu and Kashmir on Wednesday night. When the body was brought to the village on Friday, the family became inconsolable.

BSF Havildar Virpal Singh, posted in Jammu and Kashmir’s Sundari Forest, fell martyred while patrolling on Wednesday night. On Friday morning, Virpal’s body was brought to his ancestral village, Bhagipurpur, when everyone’s eyes became moist. The relatives of the martyr are in bad shape. Son Vikas said that he had a talk with the father on the night of 1 September. He was very happy. His leave was approved. He was going to come home this month. Everyone was waiting for his arrival. But nobody thought it would come wrapped in a tricolor. Public representatives, officers and people have reached for the martyr’s last visit. The son lit the corpse.

Mother lost due to son’s martyrdom, three daughters crying bitterly
In 1995, Virpal Singh, resident of Bhagipurpur village of Saurikh police station area, was admitted to the BSF 69 Battalion in Ahmedabad. Father Ratiram died in 2015. The son’s martyrdom has left his 72-year-old mother Vidyavati sad. Virpal was the second of four brothers. Elder brother Surendra Pal, Surendra Pal and third brother Umaid Pal work in Sonipat. Younger brother Satyendra Pal works in Delhi. Virpal has a son Chaman and three daughters Poonam Pal, Parul and Durga Pal. Veerpal’s nephew Gaurav wanted to serve the country like uncle Veerpal. In the year 2017, V was admitted to the Technical Corps of the Indian Army from Kanpur. He is currently posted in Bhuj, Gujarat.

On Wednesday, Veerpal was patrolling the hill with his comrades to prevent infiltration along the border into the Sundari forest with his companions. But he slipped into a 50 meter deep moat. He was admitted to the hospital in critical condition. Where death occurred. Virpal had come home earlier on 27 January on a month’s leave. It was during this period that he married his elder daughter Poonam Pal. District Magistrate Rakesh Kumar Mishra along with Superintendent of Police Amarendra Prasad Singh have also reached the martyr’s house.
