Sanjay Rajput, brother of BJP MLA Kailash Rajput from Tirwa Assembly in Kannauj district, died under suspicious circumstances after falling from the window of the second floor private ward of Kovid-19 Hospital in Government Medical College on Friday. They were corona infected for four days. Sanjay Rajput was in home isolation till now. He was admitted to the hospital in the morning. Suicide or accident is the reason for his death, no officer is ready to speak anything on it. BJP MLA Kailash Rajput has reached the Medical College after receiving the news of the death.
Sanjay Rajput was in home isolation for 7 days
The corona report of 45-year-old Sanjay Rajput came back positive on August 28. Since then, according to the guidelines, he was in isolation at his house in Chibramau. He was admitted to Tirva Medical College around 11 o’clock on Friday morning. He was kept in a private ward on the second floor. Between two and a half to three in the afternoon, he fell down from the room window. He suffered a deep head injury that caused a lot of bleeding on the spot. The doctor declared him dead after seeing them. The reason for his fall is not yet clear. However, the authorities are busy investigating the exact cause of death in the case. At the same time, there is a discussion among people that they have committed suicide by jumping out of fear of Corona.
The MLA reached the hospital.
Under which circumstances, ongoing investigation
Additional District Magistrate Gajendra Kumar said that, CMS of Medical College Tirwa has given information that Sanjay Rajput was still in home isolation as per standard. He was shifted to the hospital in the morning. Had lunch in the afternoon. It has since been reported to have fallen through the window. But under which circumstances the window fell, it is under investigation. Necessary legal action will be taken for investigation.
