Ramesh Awasthi, who became BJP's candidate from Kanpur parliamentary seat, was given a grand welcome at the Central Station on Wednesday. He reached Kanpur by Shatabdi Express from Delhi. On the pretext of welcoming the candidate, BJP has heated up the election atmosphere by holding its first road show.

Lok Sabha candidate from Kanpur Dehat Devendra Singh Bhole also attended the welcome programme.

Ramesh Awasthi was welcomed at many places from the road show Ghantaghar.
