Appointment letters were issued to 9 teachers ignoring the standards

DCP Central RS Gautam said that the police of Colonelganj police station is investigating the fake recruitment of 9 teachers in Kanpur. In this sequence, today on Tuesday, ACP Colonelganj Mahesh Kumar and Colonelganj police station in-charge raided the DIOS office with a heavy force. During the raid, a big discrepancy was found in the investigation of the documents related to the recruitment of 9 teachers. Appointment letters of teachers were issued without verification. The e-mail related to the appointment, which the clerk should have seen, he did not see it and the then DIOS Fateh Bahadur took cognizance of the e-mail related to the fake recruitment and started the appointment process after seeing it himself.

During the investigation, the police found discrepancies at every step. No appointment standards were followed. From top to bottom, i.e. from DIOS to clerk, everyone blindly took cognizance of the fake email and appointed 9 lecturers. Whereas the most important thing in any appointment is verification. The special thing is that in the appointment of 9 teachers, not even one was verified and the joining letter was issued.

The DCP said that after investigation, the employees of the DIOS office involved in the fake teacher recruitment will also be arrested. Statements of everyone from the clerk to the DIOS have been recorded.

During the raid, the ACP posted at the gate did not allow anyone to go out from inside.

DCP Central said that during the investigation, the e-mail register received by DIOS from the Secondary Education Directorate was checked. During the investigation, it was found that the e-mail related to the appointment was not recorded in the e-mail register. On which 9 teachers were appointed. Shilpa Yadav, who looked after the e-mail of the Directorate, said that the then DIOS Sir had himself taken cognizance of the e-mail. Due to this, this e-mail was not entered in the register. The police has taken possession of all the files related to the recruitment including the entry register and other documents.
