Police assured of strict action
In Bidhnu, Kanpur, a drunken husband killed his wife by stabbing her with a knife. In the morning, when the children saw their mother lying in a pool of blood, they went crying to their maternal uncle’s house and informed about the incident. The maternal uncle reached the spot and informed the police about the incident.

Police reached the spot and investigated As soon as the information was received, Bidhanu police reached the spot, called the forensic team and got the investigation done at the spot. Ghatampur ACP reached the spot and assured the family members of action. After this, the police has sent the woman’s body for post-mortem.
Husband kills wife by stabbing her Sanjay Nagar, resident of Singhpur village of Bidhnu police station area, used to support his family by working as a labourer. Sanjay was married to village resident Guddan about 17 years ago. 30-year-old wife Guddan lived at home with her two sons Ramji, Kishna and three daughters Gudiya, Rama, Vikasha.
There was a fight over drinking alcohol It is being told that there was a dispute between Sanjay and Guddan over drinking alcohol late at night. Angered by this, Sanjay killed his wife Guddan by stabbing her with a knife. In the morning the children informed their uncle about this. The maternal uncle reached the spot and called 112 and informed about the incident.
Police assured of strict action
ACP reached the spot with the police As soon as information about the murder was received, Ghatampur ACP Ranjit Kumar Singh reached the spot along with Bidhnu police. The police called the forensic team and conducted a thorough investigation at the spot and sent the body for post-mortem. On the basis of the complaint, the ACP has assured the family that strict action will be taken against the accused husband.
