Kareena Kapoor highlights that it’s normal for children to test limits, as they cry, show tantrums and talk back, which does not mean moms are failing.

Kareena Kapoor is more than just a popular actress and fashion icon. She’s a dedicated mother of two sons, Jeh and Taimur, whom she shares with actor Saif Ali Khan. Kareena understands that motherhood can be a challenging full time job that impacts both mental and physical health. Recently, she reposted a powerful morning message on her Instagram story to inspire mothers. As per the message, Kareena highlights that it’s normal for children to test limits at different ages, as they cry, show tantrums and talk back, which does not mean they are failing.

Through the post, she reminds new moms that the journey can be overwhelming and they should be kind with themselves. The message read, “Babies cry. Toddlers have tantrums. Kids talk back. Teenagers test boundaries. None of this means you are failing.” In the post she added, “Good Morning. Read that again.”

Speaking about raising Jeh and Taimur, Kareena Kapoor while appearing on The Ranveer Show earlier this year shared, “Right now we were at home and I was getting ready and suddenly I hear Saif screaming on top of his voice and I was like, ‘What happened,’ and he’s yelling, ‘You will not do that,’ because right now it’s just pulling them apart because they’re both finding their identities. Taimur is now the older brother so he’s like bullying and pushing him (Jeh). So right now it’s like both Saif and I are like it’s so difficult, it’s crazy and they’re both very strong individuals.”

“I’m learning also because you know we come from an all women household. I need somebody, like I need Saif to tell me that, ‘It’s fine, relax, just chill out, it’s okay, it happens.’ It’s just crazy. Every 15 minutes their mood changes and I’ve realized they only want to run and they only want to eat food,” she added.

In the same interview, Kareena Kapoor mentioned that she wants her children to make their own choices about their futures. She believes it’s important for them to find their own path in life. Kareena highlighted that they won’t pressure their children to follow a specific career, instead, she trusts that they will discover their own direction and purpose as they grow.

On the work front, Kareena is currently seen in the Buckingham Murders. She will next star in Singham Again alongside Ajay Devgn, Deepika Padukone, Tiger Shroff, Arjun Kapoor, Jackie Shroff, Ranveer Singh and Akshay Kumar.
