Karisma Kapoor, on the occasion of Father’s Day 2024, took a stroll down memory lane and dropped an unseen picture with her dad Randhir Kapoor and mother Babita. The photo is from Karisma’s childhood album. Here, Karisma looks cute as a cupcake in a yellow dress. Along with the pic, Karisma wrote, “An inspiration of goodness (a red heart emoticon).” Karisma’s sister Kareena Kapoor was among the first to drop a comment under the post. She said, “Why don’t I have this treasure trove of pictures????” To this, the Raja Hindustani actress replied, “You can have all of them anytime.”

Veteran actors Randhir Kapoor and Babita tied the knot in 1971 and after three years of marriage, they welcomed their first child Karisma in 1974. Kareena was born in 1980.

Earlier in an interview with Radio Channel 92.5 FM, Randhir Kapoor expressed his pride in the achievement of his daughters and credited Babita for their success. He said. “I am very proud of my two daughters. They had made it on their own streak. Yes, the driving force was Babita, I give full credit to their mother but they have worked very hard.”

Karisma Kapoor, known for her work in hit 90s films Coolie No 1, Biwi No 1, and Dil Toh Pagal Hai, took a break from acting and stayed away from the limelight to focus on her family.

In an interview with Grazia, the actress shared, “I chose to stay away from the limelight- I had young children, and it was important for me as a mother that I didn’t want to miss out on those moments. I think that’s a choice that each individual needs to make and that’s a choice I made.”

Karisma Kapoor was recently seen in the mystery thriller film Murder Mubarak. Helmed by Homi Adajania, the film also starred Sara Ali Khan, Pankaj Tripathi, Vijay Varma, Sanjay Kapoor and Dimple Kapadia in pivotal roles. It was released on the OTT platform Netflix.
