In the Lalitpur district of Uttar Pradesh on Friday, the Karni army opened a front against an open liquor shop in Khirkapura locality. Many women and men shouted slogans against the Excise Department, demanding that the shop be shifted elsewhere. People agreed after the assurance of the officers. During this, the ruckus continued for about an hour.
Officers assured to remove the shop
This case is of Kotwali Sadar area Mohalla Khirkapura. More than 20 women-men, led by the Karni Sena officials Bantu and the councilor, performed in front of the country liquor shop on the highway. Demanding that the shop be removed from the locality, it blocked the road. As soon as the performance was known, the Deputy Collector and CO City reached the spot and assured to take appropriate action. Then the protesters went and opened the jam.
People said – ill effect on children
The councilor said that due to the opening of the liquor shop, the gathering of alcoholics lives in the locality. The women coming and going are teased on the day. Children are also being affected.
