Additional Superintendent of Police conducted annual inspection of Police Station Lotan of Siddharthnagar on Friday evening. He checked the functionality and adequacy of the weapons and cartridges available at the police station. The SP directed for cleaning of scriptures and regular weapon handling practice of police personnel.
ASP directed for Arms Operation Exercise. The adequacy of rubber bullets, anti-right guns, body protectors, helmets, sticks etc. were checked. The entries in the records available at the police station were directed to be kept up-to-date. Nepal has been directed to closely monitor the vehicles and people moving on the country’s border during the day and night.
Instructions for doing character and passport verification
The village guards of the police station area were made aware of their responsibilities. Additional Superintendent of Police Suresh Chand Rawat held a conference of police personnel and directed the beat police officers to do character verification and passport verification from the spot by visiting the village through Sentinel App.
The ASP inspected the weapons of the police station.
The ASP also directed that the entries in the records available at the police station be kept up to date. He directed to closely monitor the vehicles and persons plying on the Nepal border during the day and night. He made the village guards of the area aware of their responsibilities. Conducted a conference of police personnel and directed them to go to the village for character verification and passport verification through Sentinel App.
