A day after teasing fans with his upcoming collaboration with American rapper Saweetie, Indian actor-singer Diljit Dosanjh’s latest Punjabi track titled Khutti is finally out now. The official music video has been released on Diljit’s YouTube channel and is already winning hearts.

The music video marks Diljit Dosanjh’s yet another major international collaboration adding to the list of his successful cross-border partnerships. The music video of Khutti which is gaining a lot of attention on social media shows the singer-rapper duo in vibrant outfits in the shade of pink and yellow. With Diljit’s perfect Punjabi vocals and Saweetie’s rapping, the song is hard to miss and peppy for the ears. “Khutti cheez hai!! A fusion of cultures and vibes like never before in this track celebrating authenticity and being the real deal!” the music video’s description read.

Diljit also shared a short teaser of the song on his Instagram and wrote, “KHUTTI OUT NOW WITH ICE GIRL @saweetie JUST LANDED IN PANJAB #bayarea.”

With the vocals of Diljit Dosanjh and Saweetie, the song has been composed by Raj Ranjodh and Harv and the lyrics have been penned by Raj Ranjodh and Saweetie.

Diljit Dosanjh’s global collabs

The latest partnership came on the heels of Diljit Dosanjh’s successful international collabs with heavyweights like Camilo, Julius Dubose and Sia Kate Isobelle Furler.

Emerging as one of the biggest South Asian artists worldwide, Diljit Dosanjh has played a major role in putting Punjabi music on the map internationally. From becoming the first Punjabi artist to perform at Coachella to collaborating with international artists, the actor-singer has gained a top spot by pushing artistic boundaries and embracing diversity in music.

One of his major collaborations came with Colombian singer Camilo with their Punjabi-Spanish crossover track titled Palpita. Next, he was seen teaming up with international artist Sia for the song Hass Hass. The track shows Sia singing Punjabi lyrics, which left fans amazed.

Recently, Diljit joined singer Ed Sheeran on the stage for an event in Mumbai. At a live concert organised at Mumbai’s Mahalaxmi Racecourse ground, the two delivered an electrifying performance including a rendition of the popular Punjabi song Lover. Both shared videos of their on-stage collaboration on Instagram.

Meanwhile, Diljit will be next seen in Rajesh A Krishnan’s Crew featuring Kareena, Tabu, and Kriti Sanon in the lead roles. While the film’s trailer has been already unveiled, a peppy track with the singer’s vocals is also out now.
