Two African players from Royal Travels Kozhikode and Super Studio Malappuram started kicking and punching each other. The match was tied at 1–1 until the fight.

Apart from Kerala, players are also brought from African countries. There is a lot of enthusiasm among the people about this tournament to be held at night. After this both the teams huddled together. After some time the situation got out of hand and the fans also came on the ground and started fighting with each other. In this situation even the police could not do anything.

Penalty on both players
Sevens Football Management has imposed a fine of five thousand on the foreign players of both the teams. The official page of the tournament gave this information on social media.

The organizers tried to bring the situation under control by suspending the match. They decided the winner via penalty shootout. However, the presence of a large number of people on the ground also made it impossible to conduct a shootout. Due to this, Royal Travels were declared as the winner due to winning the toss.
