Kiran Rao's reaction on Sandeep Reddy Vanga's statement: I never mentioned his films, he should talk to Aamir directly

Sandeep Reddy Vanga had recently given a statement against Aamir Khan's ex-wife Kiran Rao for criticizing Animal in an interview with Dainik Bhaskar. Sandeep said that Kiran had called his film anti-women. He said that Kiran Rao should watch Aamir Khan's films before commenting on my films.

Now due to this, Kiran Rao while talking to The Quint has replied to Sandeep Reddy Vanga. Kiran says that she has never given any statement regarding animals. He said that I have never seen his film nor taken the name of his film anywhere. Kiran defended her ex-husband and said – As much as I know Aamir, he had apologized for the song 'Khambe Jaisi Khadi Hai'. But if Sandeep has something to say about Aamir, then he should talk to Aamir face to face.

Kiran said- I have often talked about opposition to women and their representation. But I have never taken the name of any film. She said- Why did Mr. Vanga think that I was talking about his film? I have never seen his film.

Kangana Ranaut also gave her reaction on Sandeep's statement.

During the interview, Sandeep said- The second ex-wife of a big superstar said that girls are stalked in my films. Now who should tell them that it is not called stalking, but approaching. Stalking is what we saw in films like Darr and Anjaam. In those films, the hero was seen chasing the heroine like crazy. Why was that question never raised?

I agree that Animal is a violent film. I have no problem in accepting this, but this is not an anti-women film at any cost.
