The eighth round of high-level military talks between Indian and Chinese armies concluded after 10 hours. The Corps Commander-level talks began at around 9:30 am in Chushul on the Indian side of the Line of Actual Control (LAC) in eastern Ladakh. Government sources said that the talks were held with an aim to chart a roadmap for disengagement of troops from all the flash points in eastern Ladakh. The Indian delegation at the eighth round of military talks was led by Lt Gen PGK Menon, the newly-appointed Commander of the Leh-based 14 Corps.
