In Mirzapur town of Shahjahanpur, thieves broke the staircase door and reached the shop of BJP leader Ramsaran Lal Cement Agency, Galla Aadhat, Jewelers and Building Materials. After this, they broke the cupboard and cash worth Rs. 4 lakh 57 thousand and cash worth Rs. 3 lakh

Businessman Premnarayan Gupta alias Chhuttan Bhaiya told that he has a grain wholesale, building material and jeweler’s shop in the name of M/s Ram Saran Lal Cement Agency on Moradabad-Farrukhabad State Highway. When he went to open his shop at 7 am on Monday, he saw that the staircase door was open. The iron cupboard and the cashbox kept on the firm’s seat were broken. The items kept in the cupboard and the firm’s papers were scattered. When he looked in the cupboard, Rs. 367000 cash withdrawn from his firm’s account from the bank on Friday, Rs. 90000 kept in the cashbox for sale and gold-silver jewellery worth about Rs. three lakh kept for sale were missing. The thieves stole them.
The victim gave a complaint to the police.
Police is investigating
On receiving the news of theft of lakhs of rupees from the businessman’s firm, a large number of traders gathered. All the traders reached the police station along with the victim Premnarayan Gupta alias Chhuttan Bhaiya. Under pressure from the traders, police station in-charge Vinod Kumar has started investigation by registering a report under section 457 and 380 of IPC against unknown thieves on the complaint of the victim Premnarayan Gupta alias Chhuttan Bhaiya.
