On Wednesday, the proposal regarding the prorogation of the monsoon session of the Legislative Assembly and the Legislative Council was approved through the cabinet by-circulation. Along with this, the Yogi government has approved the proposal of ‘Affordable Housing Bye-law-2021’ to fulfill the promise of providing cheap houses to the poor and low income group people. With this, builders will now get the facility to cut more plots along with constructing more tall buildings and houses on less land in cities.
In the Development Department, 428 posts of BDO are filled by direct recruitment while 429 posts are filled by promotion of Assistant Development Officer. Out of 429 promotion quota, 242 posts are lying vacant for a long time. Till now, for BDO, two years of service experience was required in the post of Joint Block Development Officer and seven years in the post of ADO.
Land approved for staff office of ATS officers in Mau
The cabinet has given its nod to allot land for staff office, field unit building and commando’s barracks for ATS officers in Mau district. A field unit will be constructed in an area of 3013 square meters in Pardahan village of Sadar tehsil of Mau. The proposal for allotment of land was approved by the cabinet on Wednesday.
Approval for selection of consultant for Ganga Expressway
The Cabinet has given its nod to the proposal to engage M/s SBI Capital Markets Limited on nomination basis to be engaged as Special Consultant for implementation of Ganga Expressway Project. This project has been selected for work on PPP model. According to a government spokesperson, the preliminary DPR has been prepared. The selection of a consultant is essential for financial management, monitoring and estimation of the Viability Gap Fund. SBI Capital Markets Limited has experience in building expressways in Maharashtra. Its selection will greatly accelerate the pace of the project.
Agra-Lucknow Expressway : 2500 square meter land for CNG station
The cabinet has also approved the proposal to lease 2500 square meters of land to M/s Torrent Gas Pvt Ltd for setting up of CNG station at Chainage-218 of Agra-Lucknow Expressway. This land will be given at the rate of Rs 200 per square meter. The cost of setting up a CNG station is high and at present the consumption is low. Hence the land rates for CNG stations have been kept low as compared to other petrol pumps.
Seal on the proposal to open medical colleges in PPP mode in 16 districts
In 16 districts of the state, green signal has been given to open medical colleges in public private partnership mode. The government on Wednesday approved the proposal for financial and non-financial assistance to private sector units for the colleges by the cabinet.Bagpat, Ballia, Bhadohi, Chitrakoot, Hamirpur, Hathras, Kasganj, Maharajganj, Mahoba, Mainpuri, Medical colleges will open in PPP mode in Mau, Rampur, Sambhal, Sant Kabirnagar, Shamli and Shravasti.
