The Oxygen Express in Lakhanau, the capital of Uttar Pradesh, has reached Lucknow with 10 oxygen containers from Jamshedpur. Oxygen Express has reached Lakhnau railway station at 6 pm on Monday evening from Tatanagar station in Jamshedpur. The largest oxygen consignment has reached Lucknow so far. At the same time, CM Yogi has instructed the officers of all the districts of the state to nominate a responsible officer to supply oxygen refiller to the patients of home isolation.
6 containers will go to Lucknow and four to Kanpur
Out of 10 oxygen containers reached Lucknow, 4 oxygen containers were allotted for Kanpur and 6 containers were allotted for Lucknow. The Adani Group’s 10 Container Oxygen Express departed from Tata Nagar at 6 pm on Monday. Two containers were loaded on each wagon.
About 80 metric tonnes of oxygen was brought from this train. DRM Sanjay Tripathi said that the distance from Tata Nagar to Lucknow is 975 km. In such a situation, the Oxygen Express arrived at 1:30 pm by making a green corridor. A technical staff team also continued in the train, which has been checking the pressure of the container on the way.
Giving details of the supply of oxygen throughout the state in the last twenty-four hours, Additional Chief Secretary, Home, Avnish Kumar Awasthi said that 350.12 metric tonnes of oxygen has been supplied to the refilers by the Food Safety and Drug Administration Department. Also, as a result of the efforts of the government, 309 metric tonnes of oxygen has been supplied to medical colleges and medical institutions in the state and 124.19 metric tonnes of oxygen has been supplied directly to private hospitals by oxygen suppliers. In this way, more than 783 metric tonnes of oxygen has been supplied in the last 24 hours in government and private hospitals across the state.
Oxygen refiller to be designated for supply to patients with home isolation
At the same time, CM Yogi Adityanath nominated one oxygen refiller each in all districts of the state to supply home isolation patients. Oxygen must be made available to the people under treatment in home isolation. If a patient’s family is trying for cylinder refilling, it should be helped. Complaints of any kind of harassment by the police should not come.
