The annual income of a family in Sultanpur is Rs.105.
The astonishing feat of a lekhpal has come to the fore in Sultanpur district. Here a Lekhpal of Jaisinghpur tehsil made the annual income of a family one-third of a day’s salary of a MNREGA worker. Surprisingly, the average income of the family is shown at Rs.9 per month. There has been a stir since the issuance of the certificate of annual income of Rs 105. The digital seal of the Tehsildar is also affixed on the certificate.

The matter is related to Annapurna Nagar village of Jaisinghpur Tehsil area. Where village resident Anshuman Mishra son Pradeep Kumar Mishra needed income certificate in the school, then in the past he applied for income certificate from the nearest public facility center. On which the Halka Lekhpal Devmani Upadhyay, while reporting, showed that the monthly income of the applicant and his family is only Rs.8,75 paise and the annual income is Rs.105.

On the question of verification, he said that clarification has been sought from the Lekhpal. After that appropriate action will be taken.
