Leonardo DiCaprio and Kate Winslet shared a heartfelt moment at the Lee screening, leaving Titanic fans emotional over their bond.
Leonardo DiCaprio and Kate Winslet have shown that their friendship is as strong as ever, nearly three decades after Titanic. The duo reunited on Tuesday, November 19, at a special screening of Winslet’s latest movie Lee at the Harmony Gold Theatre in Los Angeles. Their heartfelt embrace and a friendly kiss on stage have sparked an emotional response from fans.
Winslet, 49, and DiCaprio, who recently turned 50, posed together in front of a poster for Lee, with Winslet leaning her head against DiCaprio’s face. In a video shared on X, DiCaprio introduced the film, praising Winslet’s performance.
“Kate, my dear friend, your work in this film has been nothing short of transformative,” DiCaprio said. He described her as “one of the great talents of my generation,” adding, “I continue to be awestruck, I continue to admire your strength, your integrity, your talent, and your passion for every single project you create.”
The highlight for fans was the kiss shared by the two, leaving social media abuzz. One fan commented, “Leo glazing and then kissing Kate? OH THEY’RE SO BACK.” Another added, “I still think Leonardo DiCaprio was destined to marry Kate Winslet. I still believe it.”

DiCaprio and Winslet worked together on the 1997 James Cameron epic Titanic. The film, which portrayed their characters’ ill-fated love story, remains a cinematic classic. It won 11 Academy Awards, including Best Picture, and continues to be a reference point in both actors’ careers.
Winslet recently addressed the film’s famous “floating door” debate while promoting Lee in Australia. On The Project, she quipped, “I thought, ‘He’s busting out the Titanic question and next he’s gonna ask me about the door.’ I absolutely knew it.”
After Titanic, the pair reunited in 2008 for Revolutionary Road, further cementing their on-screen chemistry.
Winslet’s latest project, Lee, sees her portraying fashion model-turned-WWII photographer Lee Miller. The film has already garnered attention for Winslet’s powerful performance.
