The court sentenced Rohit Pal to life imprisonment in the case of luring a teenage girl and raping her in Dibiyapur police station area of Auraiya about two years ago. The court of Special Judge Manraj Singh imposed a penalty of Rs 1 lakh on the accused.

Prosecution lawyer DGC Abhishek Mishra and Special Public Prosecutor (POCSO) Mridul Mishra said that the girl’s father lodged a report at Dibiyapur police station. According to this, at 06 pm on 02 November 2022, his 15-year-old daughter was lured away from home by the accused.
The complainant had named the wrong accused, but during investigation the police found that the accused, Rohit Pal, resident of Janetpur village of Auraiya, had abducted the minor. A case of kidnapping and rape, POCSO and SC ST Act was registered against him. This case was heard in the court of Special Judge (POCSO Adhikari) Manraj Singh and his decision was announced on Monday.
