Dharamveer told that all the essential items of the house got damaged by getting buried in the rubble of the house.
A two-storey house collapsed due to lightning in Naugaon under Chaumuhan block of Mathura. The whole house was cracked due to lightning. After a while the whole house was filled and collapsed. Thankfully there was no casualty in this incident.
People ran away from home as soon as lightning struck
The people of the family living in the house ran out of the house as soon as the lightning struck. All the people saved their lives in time. On being informed by the villagers about the lightning strike on the house, neither the police administration nor any officer reached the spot nor did the revenue department take any care. The villagers have demanded the District Magistrate to provide assistance to the homeless family from the Divine Disaster Relief Fund.
14 people were in the house at the time of the incident
Dharamveer’s son Gopali and his brother were living in a two-storey house with their family in village Naugaon of Chaumuhan block. Dharamveer told that 12 people live in the house including he and his brother’s family. On Wednesday, two relatives had also come to his house. Everyone slept after having dinner. Suddenly in the morning the sound of thundering lightning was heard. After a few moments the wall of the house started shaking. The floor began to sit. Seeing the cracks in the walls, everyone came out. After some time the whole house was filled and collapsed. Hearing the sound of lightning, the people around also gathered outside near the house. Dharamveer told that all the essential items of the house got damaged by getting buried in the debris of the house. Due to the collapse of the house, his entire family has come on the road.
