Bollywood actress Vidya Balan has challenged the stereotype thinking of Bollywood by playing different roles in films. Vidya, who has completely penetrated the character of her film, has always stunned people by acting strong. In a recent interview, Vidya told that she did not try to break stereotype thinking. But from the experience of her life, especially as an actor, she realized that she will not let any obstacle come in her way.

Vidya said, “I was not ready to break these stereotype thinking, but I feel that through my experiences in life, especially as an actor, I have realized that I am an actor. I won’t let anything get in my way.”

Vidya further said, “If someone tells me that as an actor I am too young, too fat, too bold, too shy or too smart and whatever I am. I can’t change myself as I am. But I can choose my own path.”

Vidya says, “My passion for what I do has haunted me because I can’t change anything about myself, so I was not ready to break these stereotype thinking. I just said that if If it doesn’t work, it’s too bad, it should work because I’m going to make it work. It’s got to work because I want to be an actor.”

Vidya started her career in Bollywood with the film ‘Parineeta’ in 2005. He then went on to act in films like ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa’, ‘No One Killed Jessica’, ‘The Dirty Picture’, ‘Paa’, ‘Kahaani’, ‘Ishqiya’, ‘Mission Mangal’, ‘Tumhari Sulu’ and ‘Shakuntala Devi’. The work captivated the audience. She will next be seen in filmmaker Amit Masurkar’s film Sherni. She will play the role of a forest officer in the film. The film is scheduled to release on June 18 on Amazon Prime Video.
