Gang-war between two Bahubali factions has come to light at around 9 pm on Wednesday night in Vibhutkhand police station area of the capital Lucknow. During this time, former block chief of Mau, Ajit Singh alias Langra was shot dead. While his partner Mohar Singh and a food supply company employee Prakash are also injured. The condition of both is stated to be out of danger. Both have been admitted to Ram Manohar Lohia Hospital. The deceased has been the block chief of Mohammadabad Gohana in Ajit Singh Mau.
According to eyewitnesses, there were 25-30 rounds of firing between the two groups. During this, Ajit Singh died from being shot. After executing the murder, the accused fled from the spot. Got into the investigation after getting information. A Bahubali of Azamgarh is suspected of murder. The deceased is said to be close to Ajit Mukhtar Ansari.

Police have started searching for the killers from CCTV footage installed around the scene.

Police Commissioner DK Thakur said that 18 cases have been registered against Ajit Singh, including about 5 murders. It has recently been changed to District on 30 September 2020 on the orders of the District Magistrate. The colleagues who were present at the time of the incident are being questioned.
