Reasons for the fire have not been revealed. Fire brigade reached the spot after receiving information, after which the fire has been controlled. Workshop is at some distance from petrol pump, big accident averted

There is a petrol pump at Daroga Kheda on National Highway-25 Kanpur Road in Banthara police station area. Uttar Pradesh Transport Workshop is at some distance from this. Three buses parked here suddenly caught fire on Thursday morning. The fire was so fierce that there was chaos around. On the information of the passers, Banthara police station reached the spot. In addition, the fire brigade was called. By the time the fire engine reached the spot, all three buses were burnt to ashes. If the fire had reached the petrol pump, a big accident could have happened.

Buses were standing in the workshop since September

According to the information, these three buses were ordered to run as contracts. In fact, the corporation management had ordered a Mumbai operator to operate 32 luxury buses. But later there was a dispute between the two about the profit, then the matter reached the court. The operator brought Lucknow to operate these buses in September. Since then these buses were parked in the workshop on Kanpur Road. There were some technical glitches. The price of a bus is said to be more than one crore rupees.
