The 24th Hunar Haat at Awadh Shilpgram in the capital Lucknow ended on Sunday. Union Minority Welfare Minister Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi, who arrived at the concluding program of Hunar Haat which started from 22 January, visited the haat and tasted many dishes. He said that Hunar Haat is being organized by the Ministry of Minorities to provide craftsmen of the country their talent and employment opportunities. We are about to enter the 75th year of Swaraj. We are going to celebrate the 75th anniversary of independence. Due to which we have set a target of organizing 75 skill haats to earn the name of craftsmen in the country and abroad and strengthen them from the economic situation.
25th Hunar Haat started in Mysore, Karnataka
Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi said that the 25th Hunar Haat has started in Mysore, Karnataka on 6th. It is inaugurated by former Karnataka Chief Minister Sadanand Gowda. On 20 February, Hunar Haat will be organized in Delhi. The Union Minister also said that Hunar Haat will also be organized in Rajasthan, Goa, Indore, Mumbai. Due to the request of the UP government, for the first time, the date of the Hunar Haat in Lucknow was extended for 3 days. But today is its last day.
7 lakh 50 thousand will provide employment to skilled people
Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi said that we will provide employment to 7 lakh 50 thousand Hunarmand through Hunar Haat. For which the entire outline has been prepared. Our handicraft handicrafts were slowly fading and our artists were not getting a chance. Due to this, Hunar Haat was organized and millions of rupees were purchased in it. We provide free stalls to artisans and craftsmen in Hunarhat. We also provide TA-DA facilities to the skilled. During Kovid-19 itself, we have organized Hunar Haat in Delhi.
