Coronavirus figures are once again increasing in Uttar Pradesh. In the last 24 hours (18 November), 2,390 new patients came on Thursday. For the past two days, around 15,00 new patients were getting. However, 2,529 patients also recovered. 30 of the infected have died. With this, the number of corona patients in the state has reached 5,09,175. So far, 94 percent patients have been cured. There are only 22 thousand active cases. 7,441 patients have died in the state. But the sudden increase in the number of patients has increased the concern of the health department.

Corona conditions in Lucknow
In the capital once again, after 10 days, the number of corona infected is touching the figure between two to three hundred. Corona was confirmed in 294 new patients, including seven staff members of Doctor APJ Abdul Kalam University (AKTU), while 363 patients beat Corona. Apart from this, the health department teams have collected samples of 7,962 people on the basis of survey and contact tracing regarding Corona virus. The vice-chancellor has ordered AKTU to be closed for the next two days till November 19 and 20.
Chief Medical Officer spokesman Yogesh Raghuvanshi said that 105 patients were allotted hospitals under the Kovid protocol. Out of which 58 patients have been admitted to the hospital till late evening. The remaining 47 patients opted for home isolation. The total number of home isolation patients so far is 50,740. There are 48,795 patients who complete home isolation and 1,945 patients undergoing active home isolation. From Kovid-19 control room, 1,806 patients of home isolation were informed about their health through phone. Along with this, 115 patients were consulted for health by Hello patients in Kovid-19 control room.
Five die due to infection
Five patients died in the capital from Corona infection during treatment. These include two Lucknow patients and three non-district patients. In non-districts, one patient each of Sitapur, Barabanki and Maharajganj died.
