Let us tell you that a week ago, the body of an unknown youth was found floating in a pond near Pandey Purwa in Harpalpur police station area. The police took the body into custody and got it identified. The body was identified as Rajiv alias Rinku, son of Suresh, a resident of Lalua Mau village of the area. Suresh had lodged a report in the police station against Chaman son of Vinay Singh, a resident of his village, and two others for taking his son Rajiv with them and drowning him in the pond and killing him.

The police team arrested the accused Inspector Singh, son of Raj Bahadur Singh, resident of Lalua Mau village. During interrogation, Inspector Singh said that he and Chaman Singh had taken Rajiv with them in the car. They took him in the car outside the village and went to Chaunsar market, where they made Rajiv drink alcohol. After this, all three sat in the car and went to Sawaijpur via Harpalpur while drinking alcohol.
