Officers held a meeting regarding security on Maghi Purnima.

In view of Maghi Purnima, the last bathing festival of Magh Mela, a high alert has been issued in the fair area as well as the city. Lakhs of devotees will come to Sangam city on Saturday and will go back after bathing, meditation and worship. Like other major bathing festivals, an emergency plan is ready with three-tier security on Maghi Purnima.
