Mahesh Chandra joined the Red Cross after retiring from the Army and has made incomparable contributions here without any honorarium, benefits or inducements. Mahesh Chandra is the president of the disaster management unit in the Red Cross. Mahesh Chandra made incomparable contributions by serving the people during Covid 19, for which his name was proposed by the Governor to be honored in the annual program of the Red Cross. After this, he has been honored today.

Mahesh Chandra, a resident of Mohalla Subhash Nagar in Hardoi city, was informed by the Red Cross Selection Committee in a letter issued by the General Secretary of the Indian Red Cross Society Himabindu Nayak that the work done by Mahesh Chandra was incomparable, and that his name was included in the list of people to be honored by the Governor.
