The makers shared that actor SJ Suryah has been officially added to the movie’s cast.
Actor Vikram is currently making headlines for his upcoming historical action drama film Thangalaan, which is all set to release soon. The actor has next collaborated with Chithha director S. U. Arun Kumar for the upcoming movie Chiyaan62. The project has created a lot of buzz since its announcement. In the latest update, the makers have announced an audition for the film for a wide range of age groups, from children to adults. The audition for this will be held today (March 28) and tomorrow at Sengunthar Mahal Kumaran Colony, Vadapalani, Chennai.
As per the report, the age profile of the actors required is:
Child stars aged 5 to 12 years and actors and actresses aged 25 to 65 years. Those who are interested, talented, and keen on acting can participate in the auditions for actors, which will be held today and tomorrow. It has also been announced that those who have no previous experience can also appear in this audition.
Earlier, the makers shared that actor SJ Suryah had been officially added to the cast of the film. With an amazing cast and GV Prakash Kumar’s music, this upcoming action thriller is one of the most awaited movies.
The significant news that SJ Suryah is joining the crew and will appear with Vikram was announced by the makers on their official social media accounts.
“We are blessed to have SJ Suryah join the cast of Chiyaan’s #Chiyaan62; we warmly welcome you to the energetic team, sir,” read the caption in the announcement post on the official page. SJ Suryah also replied to the announcement and expressed his excitement about being part of this project.
On his official Twitter account, the actor expressed his happiness to join Chiyaan 62. The actor wrote, “Very happy to join Chiyaan 62, A Rocking Project by Chithha Fame SU. Arun Kumar sir, very different narration; I felt that God was blessing one more great success when director Arun finished his great narration; and happy joining again with trendy G V Prakash sir.” He also thanked the producers and other team members.
Meanwhile, Vikram will soon be seen in Thangalaan. The movie is backed by K. E. Gnanavel Raja under the banner of Studio Green and Neelam Productions, while Pa. Ranjith is directing the project.
The film stars Vikram and Malavika Mohanan in lead roles, with Pasupathy, Parvathy Thiruvothu, Daniel Caltagirone, and Harikrishnan Anbudurai playing other pivotal roles.
