Malayalam actor Bala has started a new chapter in his life by getting married for the third time. He tied the knot with Kokila, daughter of his maternal uncle from Chennai. The wedding ceremony was held at the Kaloor Pavakulam temple in Ernakulam at 8:30 AM on Wednesday, attended by family and close relatives. Bala’s recent marriage ceremony comes as a surprise, as he was married twice in the past and his ex-wife, Amrutha Suresh, even filed a harassment case against him. Despite all the negativity, Bala spoke about the situation in a recent media interview. While he promised to lead a healthier lifestyle amid ongoing health issues, the actor also took a dig at people trolling him and assured everyone that he wouldn’t marry anyone else after Kokila.
According to Mathrubhumi, the actor speaking with the media said, “Many people have blessed us, but many trolls have also appeared. This is my last wedding. When I asked Kokila if she was sad about the trolls she replied, ‘No.’ When I asked, ‘Why,’ she told me she doesn’t know Malayalam. I have a piece of advice for trolls and negative commenters; if you add some English in the trolls we will understand. We won’t understand if it’s all in Malayalam. In any case, whatever it is, let everyone be well.”
“I also felt the need for support after my liver transplant. I had said in an earlier interview that I’m confident when I’m on my own. I am now taking care of my diet and taking medicine. My health has improved, and it is possible to move forward in good condition. Bless with your heart if you can,” Bala added.
After marrying Kokila, Bala even shared a glimpse from their special day on Facebook. He wrote, “Thank you all sincerely. Would like to stay away from the media for a while. My family is mine, hope all respects the same. God bless.”
For those not aware, Bala was first married to singer Amrutha Suresh, with whom he has a daughter named Avantika. After their divorce, he got married for the second time with Elizabeth, but their union was never legally registered.
