A married woman who had come to her in-laws’ house after two months with her uncle in Butena village of Secunderabad in Bulandshahr committed suicide by hanging herself. The forensic team also investigated the matter. The police have sent the body for postmortem.

Naresh, son of Nanak Chand, a resident of Butena village of Kotwali area, was married to Deepa, daughter of Sammar, about six and a half years ago. They have two sons. According to the villagers, about two months ago, the two had a fight over something. Due to which Naresh left his wife Deepa at the house of her uncle Balveer, resident of Raipur, Tappal police station, Aligarh district. On Tuesday afternoon, Balveer brought his niece Deepa to her in-laws’ house in Butena.
Other people were also present in the in-laws’ house. Uncle and others started talking. Meanwhile, Deepa went to the room on the first floor to cook food. When Deepa did not come down after a long time, the people of the house went upstairs. Where Deepa was found hanging from the ceiling fan with a dupatta.
The people in the house got alarmed after hearing the noise. Deepa was rushed to the government hospital for treatment. Where the doctors declared her dead. On receiving the information, the police and forensic team also reached the spot and investigated.
Khurja Gate Chowki Incharge Sarwar Khan said that the body has been sent for postmortem. A complaint has been filed by the deceased’s uncle. Investigation is being conducted on it.
