- CM Yogi tied the talk by talking to Mayawati
Prabhu Dayal, the former Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister and father of BSP supremo Mayawati, died on Thursday. He was 95 years old. He lived with the family in Rakabganj, Delhi. He will be cremated in Delhi itself. Apart from Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, many leaders and activists including BSP National General Secretary and Rajya Sabha MP Satish Chandra Mishra have mourned his death. At the same time, Congress General Secretary Priyanka Gandhi has also expressed her condolences.
Shifted to Delhi for children’s education
BSP chief Mayawati is originally from Badlapur village in Gautam Budh Nagar district. His father Prabhudayal was in a government job. He shifted from village to Delhi to provide better education to children. Mayawati also studied in Delhi with her sisters and brother. He wanted to make Mayawati an IAS officer. But, after coming in contact with BSP founder Kanshi Ram, Mayawati took the path of politics, in which she has come to the extent of becoming the Chief Minister.
