In Bulandshahr, workers staged a protest under the banner of the Center of Indian Trade Unions against the exploitation of workers. Workers staged a sit-in protest at the Labor Commissioner’s office. During this, CITU District General Secretary Surendra Singh addressed the workers.

He said that due to the anti-labour policies of the government, factory owners are exploiting workers arbitrarily. Instead of implementing labour laws, the labour department officers are working at the behest of the owners. Workers are being exploited mercilessly.
Memorandum given to the Labor Commissioner
There is no record of these workers working in the factories of Secunderabad Industrial Area for 20-25 years and neither are they being paid the prescribed salary. They are being thrown out arbitrarily. Instead of paying them directly, the company owners are paying them less salary through contractors. If this kind of injustice continues with the workers, the workers union will take to the streets. After this, a memorandum was also submitted to the Labor Commissioner.
