The second wave of corona infection is spreading rapidly in Meerut district of Uttar Pradesh. Due to increase in the number of infected patients, now Meerut district has been included in the top-10 list of the state. In the last 24 hours, 119 Corona positive patients were found in the district, while two patients died. On Wednesday night, the Chief Minister directed that the administration should consider imposing night curfew in the districts where the number of patients getting infected daily is 100. In such a situation, there may be restrictions in Meerut soon.

Six people from a family found infected
The concern of the Health Department and the district administration is also increasing with the increasing cases of Corona day by day. According to the report released by the Health Department, 119 new patients of corona infection have been reported in the last 24 hours. During this period two patients died during treatment. Of these, one patient was 65 years old, while the other patient was 26 years old. In the Tarapuri area of ​​the city, 6 people belonging to the same family have been found corona infected. New found patients include patients ranging from one year old boy to 74 seven. The investigation report of an officer of the Secondary Education Council has also come to Corona positive. At present, the number of corona positive active patients in the district is 6,49. So far, 4,43 patients have died in the district from Corona.

Night curfew can be imposed in the city
Given the way the Corona infection cases are increasing rapidly, the local district administration may impose a night curfew in the city. A meeting of police and administrative officials has been called today to take a decision in this regard. It is being told that at present the night curfew can be imposed in those areas where more cases of infection are coming out.
