On Saturday, the police arrested two more youths in the suicide case of a teenage girl after the video went viral in the village of Lohiyanagar police station area. Both the accused had made the video of the girl viral by creating a fake ID on Instagram. Both the accused teenagers were blackmailed.

Gave life for being defamed The student had stopped going to school after the video reached the mobile phones of many people of the village. Due to stress, on the evening of 20th September, the student committed suicide by hanging herself on the door frame of her room by tying a scarf around her neck. On September 21, the police arrested the main accused Ankur Kasana. CO Sadar Dehat Navina Shukla said that names of some more people had come up in the investigation.
Two accused who made the video viral arrested
On Saturday night, the police arrested Ayush Kasana and Ujjwal Kasana, accused of making the video viral. Both will be presented in the court on Sunday. Apart from these two accused, action is also being taken against all the other accused who made the videos viral.
This is the incident
A 17-year-old student studying in class 11th committed suicide by hanging herself in Phafunda village of Lohia Nagar area of Meerut. The obscene video and photo of the student was made viral by the village boys. When the student came to know about this, she committed suicide at home due to fear of defamation.
Daughter was facing pressure for 2 years
The girl’s mother said that two years ago, calls from those boys came on our daughter’s phone. Since then we have ended all contact with him. But I don’t know how those boys tortured the daughter, they instilled so much fear in her mind that she could not say anything to us. The daughter could not even tell us her grief, she kept suffocating inside. These boys made his life difficult. Those four boys, including one Muslim, are guilty of my daughter’s death.
After losing, my daughter sat at home
Mother said- When we came to know that those boys tease their daughter. They follow him everywhere – street, house, school, rooftop, so we talked to his family members. Since those accused are our neighbours, residents of this village. We talked to his family members. Told him to take care of the boys, this is not right. But his family members did not agree. All four of them kept harassing the daughter.
After losing, we made our daughter sit at home. We know that he gave his 10th class papers with great difficulty. We would get the papers for husband, wife and daughter ourselves. Somehow, he was also completing his 11th class studies from home.
