75% Muslim, never any dispute We reached Mundali village, about 30Km from Meerut headquarters. Some people were seen working in the fields, when asked they told that now less than half the families are left here. The houses are locked. In the village with population of 18 thousand, 75% are Muslims. Everyone lives together. Most of the people do farming. There were never any disputes here. Elders tell that when stone pelting took place in the village, they could not believe it. But we don’t recognize those faces. Don’t know who they were? Where did you come from?

Now read how things went wrong on 7th October Mundali Of Boys gathered at Madrasa, crowd gathered shouting slogans On the morning of 7 October, people in the village were working at home and in the fields as usual. At 11.15 a crowd suddenly started gathering outside the big madrassa. People started raising slogans against Mahant Yati Narasimhanand of Dasna Shiv Shakti Dham temple of Ghaziabad. Within some time more than 200 people gathered. Along with the youth, there were also children among them. People started walking in the streets of the village shouting communal slogans. Small children were put forward. Young men were walking behind them. When this crowd of hundreds of youth with sticks in their hands passed in front of the village temple, people were frightened.
No one was able to understand what happened to the boys in this suddenly peaceful village? The crowd reached the main market outside the primary school in the village. Then the police of Mundali police station arrived. The boys were stopped from sloganeering. After a heated argument, the crowd pelted stones at the police. The police chased them away with sticks.
On October 7, there were more young children among those who created trouble.
Names of 30 miscreants revealed, investigation of 150 continues The police have shown strictness and named 30 miscreants. Who have been identified on the basis of video. Khairu Nisha said- Son was at home, police made him an accused Expressing her pain, 70 year old Khairu Nisha says – On the afternoon of 7th October, my son Zubair was lying down after coming home after working from the fields. Meanwhile, several police vehicles arrived outside. The police had come to arrest the youth who were taking out the procession. A young man sitting at the shop outside ran into our house. He closed the gate from inside. When the police knocked the door, we opened the gate. The police caught that young man and took him away.
After some time the police came again and caught my son Zubair and took him away. We kept shouting that Zubair had nothing to do with all this, but the police did not listen. Zubair’s wife Mashiyada tells that he had not even gone anywhere, but still he was made an accused.
Khairu Nisha says that the police took my son away without any mistake.
Arif said- Brother is innocent, action should be taken against the culprits. There is silence in the family of Mohammad Arif, who is into pearl business. Arif says- My 25 year old brother Alamgir had returned from Delhi after supplying goods. He was at home only. Meanwhile, the police came and took away Alamgir on the pretext of joining the procession.
He says my brother is innocent. Police should take action against those who wanted to spoil the atmosphere, but why are people being caught without any mistake.
Mohammad Arif said- Police did not catch those who spoiled the atmosphere.
Lawyer said- Police took away 4 sons There were only women at the waiting house. Intezaar’s wife Vakila says that my four sons Nadeem, Shah Alam, Nawazish and Zeeshan were arrested by the police. All four of them were working at home. Didn’t even go in the procession. Dadi Bano says that those who were in the procession should be arrested. But why are those who have no business being caught? There is no video of my four grandsons, yet the police caught them and took them away.

Rahul said- youth have spoiled the atmosphere Rahul of the village says- Some youth tried to spoil the atmosphere. He also tricked some children. Due to which a large number of children joined the procession. There is no difference regarding this among the people of Hindu and Muslim communities in the village. Everyone is living as before. There is complete peace in the village. Elderly Abdul Majeed says that this happened because of some youth. People of all societies are living together.
Rahul said – There is no discord in the village.
Maulana said – had explained, but did not agree Maulana Farakat says – No one wants the atmosphere in the village to deteriorate. On Monday, when the youth took out a procession, many elders explained that this was not right, but they took the children forward and walked away.
He said, action should be taken against those who wanted to spoil the atmosphere but no innocent person should be harassed. Police should make arrest only after identification.

Police is holding a meeting while watching the festival Ram procession was taken out in the village on Tuesday, during which police remained deployed. Dussehra is on 12th October. In such a situation, the police is holding a meeting with the responsible people of the village to ensure that the environment of the village remains good. On Wednesday evening too, a peace committee meeting was organized by calling people from both the communities at Mundali police station. CO Kithore Pramod Singh and Mundali police station in-charge held a meeting with a large number of people.
Police said- will not catch innocent people SP Dehat Rakesh Kumar Mishra said that 15 accused have been arrested. Raids are being conducted in search of 15 named accused. Apart from this, the remaining accused are being identified on the basis of the video. The accused who spoil the atmosphere will not be spared.
