On Sunday, on the occasion of Diwali festival, Hansi Ka Pataakha Kavi Gosthi was organized by Sahyog Social Organization at its office in Brahmapuri. In the program, 13 members pledged to donate their eyes after death. On this occasion, Dr. Rakesh Bansal donated eyes.

Pandit Satyapal Dutt Sharma said that festivals are losing their original form. Now Bulbavali is celebrated not Diwali. He appealed to the people to celebrate Diwali by lighting mustard oil lamps. Prominent social worker Prashant Kaushik expressed concern over environmental pollution on Diwali, calling it a threat to humanity. He appealed to the people not to burst crackers. In the programme, comic poet Rajeshwar Ghayal was presented with a citation and a Tulsi plant and honored with the title of Sahyog Samman-2024. On this occasion, poets like Dr. Sudhakar Optimist, poetess Ananya Sharma, Dr. Rakesh Bansal, Rampal Singh, Surya Kant Sharma, Jai Prakash Verma, Umesh Kumar Kaushik, Dinesh Shandilya etc. enthralled the audience with their compositions.

The program was presided over by Satyapal Dutt Sharma. Advocate Pankaj Sharma was present as the chief guest. He gave legal information regarding crimes against women and children.
