Energy Minister Shrikant bifurcated for not repairing the overloaded transformer in Mainpuri on time. He has ordered XEN and other officials to fix the overloaded transformers immediately. Shrikant Sharma on Friday reached the power stations of Etawah, Mathura and Mainpuri districts for a surprise inspection. During this, he told MD Dakshinachal that he himself will have to review the supply in the districts. There will be no negligence of any kind in this.
When the minister went to inspect the Karhal sub-centre in Mainpuri, he took stock of the complaints registered here on 1912. Apart from this, questions and answers were given on the problem of faulty transformers, roster based supply in villages, the problems of cut areas and their redressal status. During this he also talked to the local people. In this, many people expressed their displeasure towards the departmental engineers.
People said that the transformer should be changed from time to time
The minister interacted with the local people at Saifai Sub Center in Etawah. People said that many times the transformer is damaged after it is not replaced in time. After this, the minister issued instructions to replace the faulty transformer on time. Along with this, instructions have been given for continuous power supply on agricultural feeders. There was also talk of loader loading at some places, which was ordered to be rectified.
23 thousand MW power is being supplied
He said that in the previous government, more than 16,000 MW could not be supplied. Due to high demand, the feeders had to be shut down. Presently, more than 23,000 MW is being supplied.
