In Muzaffarnagar, Minister of State with Independent Charge in Uttar Pradesh Government, Kapil Dev termed the political battle of Lok Sabha elections as Mahabharata between BJP and the opposition for the sake of truth. He said that in this Mahabharata, Prime Minister Narendra Modi and BJP are in the role of Pandavas, then he described the opposition alliance as a party of Kauravas.

Said that between Pandavas and Kauravas, the people of the country are in favor of Lord Shri Krishna.
