Republic Day was celebrated with pomp in Lalitpur.
The 74th Republic Day was celebrated with great pomp in Lalitpur. Flag hoisting was done in government, private institutions, offices and school colleges. Raetic parade was organized in the police line. The salute of the Raetic parade was received by Superintendent of Police Gopal Krishna Chowdhary.
Minister of State for Labor and Employment Manohar Lal, who was present as the chief guest, hoisted the flag and saluted the national flag with the national anthem. Minister of State Manohar Lal Panth, after releasing colorful balloons symbolizing peace and harmony, prosperity towards the sky, the Minister of State along with the Superintendent of Police inspected the grand ceremonial parade by riding in a vehicle.

The Republic Day Parade was led by First Commander Jurisdictional Police Line Mr. Imran Ahmed and Second Commander Pratisar Inspector Jagdish Chandra and Third Commander Sub Inspector Vijay Pratap. The parade was participated by 8 teams. Apart from these teams, Motorcycle Squad, Fire Squad, Shakti Mobile Team, Vajra Vehicle, SOG, UP 112 and Mahila PRV along with Home Guards and NCC cadets also participated. Everyone was administered the oath of the Constitution by Superintendent of Police Lalitpur.

Awarded Citation
Minister of State Manohar Lal Panth gave citations to the officers and employees who did commendable work, including Sub-Inspector Manoj Mishra from Home Ministry, Government of India Ati Utkrisht Seva Medal, Inspector Brijnesh Kumar, Ministry of Home Affairs, India from Government of India Excellent Service Medal Sub-Inspector Nihal Singh Sengar was awarded the Sarkar Utkrisht Seva Medal, Chief Constable Arvind Awasthi was awarded the Ati Utkrisht Seva Medal by the Ministry of Home Affairs, Mangal Singh, the head constable driver Mangal Singh etc. was awarded the Ati Utkrisht Seva Medal by the Ministry of Home Affairs.

Excellent performance by school children
Team 1, which performed well in the Raetic Parade, was awarded the first position. It was headed by sub-inspector Arjun Singh. Team 5 got the second position, which was led by Sub-Inspector Lady Parul Chandel. Patriotic songs were presented by the school children. During this, District Judge Chandroday, District Magistrate Alok Singh, Additional District Magistrate Gulshan Kumar, Additional Superintendent of Police Anil Kumar and all jurisdictional in-charge inspectors, station heads and other elite citizens were present.
