Action has been initiated against the culprits in the stampede during Bhole Baba’s satsang in Fullerai village of Sikandrarao police station area of โ€‹โ€‹Hathras. On the matter of death of 121 devotees due to stampede, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has asked Basic Education Minister Sandeep Singh to keep an eye on the matter.

He said that the Chief Minister of the state has taken cognizance of this matter. This matter is being investigated thoroughly. Action will be taken against whoever is found guilty in this. The families of the deceased have been given financial assistance of Rs 2 lakh each by the central and state governments.

Regarding the FIR and action against Bhole Baba, the minister said that it is too early to say anything right now. We are all taking action, investigation is going on. Whatever comes out as per the investigation, whoever is guilty, we will take action.

Etah DM Prem Ranjan Singh said that Rs 4 lakh each has been credited to the accounts of the families of the deceased devotees of Etah in the Hathras accident and Rs 1 lakh each has been given to the families of the injured. On this occasion, District Magistrate Prem Ranjan Singh, SSP Rajesh Kumar Singh, additional officers of Sub-District Magistrate Bhavana Vimal and BJP MLA Virendra Lodhi, District President Sandeep Jain etc. were present.
