Mithun Chakraborty admitted in Kolkata hospital: Complained of chest pain, son Mahaakshay said – routine checkup

Veteran actor and BJP leader Mithun Chakraborty was admitted to a hospital in Kolkata on Saturday. He complained of chest pain on Saturday morning. According to people close to the actor, he was feeling uncomfortable, after which he was taken to the hospital.

However, while talking to E Times, Mithun's son Mahaakshay Chakraborty said that father is absolutely fine. He had gone to the hospital only for regular checkup.

Recently, Mithun's name came into discussion again when the Padma Bhushan Awards were announced last month. He will be honored with this award. Apart from Mithun, names of singer Usha Uthup and late actor Vijaykant were also included in this announcement.
