Mithun Chakraborty is currently shooting for the upcoming film ‘The Kashmir Files’ by director Vivek Ranjan Agnihotri in Mussoorie. According to reports, on Saturday, his health had suddenly deteriorated on the sets, due to which the shooting of the film had to be stopped. It is being told that Mithun had fallen on the set due to food poisoning. The incident happened while he was shooting an outdoor action scene.
Vivek told about the incident
According to the Mid-Day report, Vivek told him, “It was an action scene shooting, which was being done on a large scale and everything around Mithun Sir’s character. His condition deteriorated due to food poisoning.” It was possible that he could not even stand up. After taking some break, he completed the sequence. “
Vivek praised Mithun
Vivek during this time praised Mithun and his way of working. He said, “Mithun told me that he never fell on the set in a 4-decade-long career. This was proof that he was thinking about shooting.” After completing the scene, the entire team wrapped up. According to Vivek, the next day i.e. on Sunday when Mithun came on set, he worked hard to break the backlog.
Anupam, Puneet also in the film
Talking about ‘The Kashmir Files’, this film will show the story of the atrocities, massacres and exodus on Kashmiri Pandits in 1990. Apart from Mithun Chakraborty, Anupam Kher and Puneet Issar also have important roles in the film. According to reports, Puneet has replaced Yograj Singh, the father of Yuvraj Singh, who was recently removed from the film after making controversial statements during the Kisan agitation.
